The Van Tan Club is Canada's oldest nudist club with a total dedication to the lifestyle. Founded in 1939 by Ray Connett "The Father of Canadian Nudism," we are located in picturesque North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The Van Tan Club provides a rustic, relaxing, and private park for the enjoyment of social nudism. The club has a wood-fired sauna, facilities for volleyball, badminton, horseshoes, shuffleboard, croquet, bocci, children's play equipment, and wading pool; spacious lawns for sunning, and lots of shade trees.

GOING NATURAL is a quarterly magazine published continually since 1986 by the Federation of Canadian Naturists. The magazine's objectives are: to provide English-speaking Canada and readers of English elsewhere with information about the many purposes and forms of naturism.

The Manitoba Naturists Association is an ad-hoc group that has recently formed to respond to the threats against traditional clothing-optional use at Beaconia Beach on Lake Winnipeg. Naturists have been enjoying the sun on a remote area at the extreme south end of Beaconia Beach for over thirty years with a minimum of hassles. In recent months a small group of area residents has been attempting to close the historically clothing optional area to all nude use.
